NEP 2020 Academic Structure

Major Course

  • Students must choose Two Major Subjects.

Minor Course

  • Students must choose One Minor Subject, which may be selected from the same faculty or another faculty (subject to availability).

Skill Development & Vocational Course

Students are required to complete Skill Development/Vocational Courses during the first three semesters.

Co-Curricular Courses

Students must complete the following courses:

  • Semester I: First Aid & Health
  • Semester II: Human Values & Environmental Studies
  • Semester III: Physical Education & Yoga
  • Semester IV: Social Responsibility & Community Engagement (or an equivalent course prescribed under NEP 2020)
